»Rigging & Lifting Specialist
Rigging & Lifting Specialist must be well versed with all aspects of rigging and lifting services, and must have good and proven experience in the supervision of safe operation of lifting equipment and heavy critical lifting in live plant areas within LNG installation or Petrochemical industries.
Hands on Experience in heavy lift Supervision, Capacity Assessment of selected cranes and rigging gear, knowledge of various rigging methods, knowledge of equipment maintenance and inspection procedures, and also should have vast knowledge of rigging requirements in large Oil & Gas operating plants including non-plant industrial areas.
Must have good understanding of Working Procedures, International Standards and Safe & Sound practices pertaining to lifting equipment and cranes.
Required Qualification
Completed Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Qualifying Rigging & Lifting certificates (i.e. must be LEEA certified or international equivalent).

»Safety Officer
Assist in the formulation, development and implementation of SEQ, programs in support of Qatargas Management System.
Promotes SEQ awareness through training courses and orientation programs in order to ensure that all staff is aware of their responsibilities.
Undertake regular inspection, testing and maintenance of all fixed and portable safety and environmental equipment within an assigned area of responsibility.
Facilitates the activities of maintenance and construction crews carrying out work under permit to work systems in order to ensure full compliance with stipulated conditions.
Participates as part of the response team during accidents or emergencies in order to assist in establishing incident control.
Participates in the development and updating of policies and procedures
Evaluate new equipment to assess suitability and makes appropriate recommendations.
