Forest ecosystems provide fresh air, water resources, fertile soil and agriculture, bio-diversity and environment. Vast sections of rural society, including a majority of the tribal, are directly dependent on forests for their livelihood. Forest degradation will have adverse impact on these life supporting systems. The Government of Tamil Nadu recognizes the prospects of a balanced ecosystem in advancing the socio-economic development of the State.

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed S.S.L.C. Public Examination or equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of Studies.
Age Limit (as on 01-07-2019) : Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years.
Selection Process : Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Online Examination, Certificate Verification, Physical Standards Verification and Endurance Test.
