• Fibre Technician - Muslim candidates only


Multi-national client offering permanent jobs with excellent benefits.

1. The Primary Role and Objective of the Fiber Technician will be as follows:

a. Inspect and Maintain the nationwide Fibre Network.
b. Conduct a visual inspection and provide a written report on the status on the infrastructure of the Fibre Optic Cable route, including any
chambers, handholes and or manholes, on a monthly basis.
c. Diagnose and resolve to a professional industry standard, any faults that occur on the Fibre Optic Network, both at internal Optical Distribution Frames and for any external chamber based issues.
d. Maintain and operate provided diagnostic equipment, and ensure that any required re-calibration of the same is periodically carried out.
e. Provide an emergency location identification and repair service for any fibre services that are damaged as result of any Third Party Civils Works or Malicious Intent.

2. The Secondary Role is to work in collaboration with the DWDM systems teams to provide resolutions to any faults which develop on the Nationwide DWDM system.
