Duties and Responsibilities
Under the overall of the head of the country office, and the direct supervision of the Programme Management Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the following.
Project management
• Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of assigned project.; monitors and analyzes project development and implementation; reviews relevant documents and reports; identifies problems and issues to be addressed and proposes corrective actions; liaises with relevant parties, including Steering Committee for the initiative; identifies and tracks follow-up actions.
• Coordinates activities related to budget and funding (programme/project preparation and submissions, progress reports, financial statements, etc.) and prepares related documents/reports (work programme, implementation plans, programme budget, etc.).
• Prepares Terms of Reference for project partners/consultants and oversees due hiring processes for delivery of project outputs as identified in the workplan; and ensures delivery of outputs by partners/consultants, in accordance with the approved workplan;
• Ensures the participation and involvement of relevant stakeholders in project activities so that the process is inclusive, participatory and transparent;
• Ensures timeliness and quality of the outputs from partners/consultants
