Khadi and Village Industries Commission Job Vacancies 2021: Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is a Statutory Body established by an Act of the Parliament and functioning under the administrative control of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Govt. Of India) in order to supply raw material of Sliver & Roving to the Khadi Institutions. KVIC had setup the Central Sliver Plant, kuttur in the year 1986 for processing raw cotton and production of Sliver/Roving provide good quality of sliver/roving to the certified Khadi Institutions. Now for modernization of this plant which includes erection of new textile machineries, it is proposed to engage the Electrical/ Electronic Consultant. In order to engage the Electrical/ Electronic, KVIC invites applications from the candidates willing to work as a Electrical/ Electronic Consultant on contract basis for Central Sliver Plant, kuttur, Trichur (Kerala) as per details mentioned below

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Experience: Experience in electrical work in textile industry for minimum period of 10 years
Maximum Age: 65 Years
Remuneration: A lump sum consolidated amount of Rs 50,000/- per month
Key Responsibilities for Electrical/Electronic Consultant
1- To act as mentor for CSP in electrical work of erecting new textile machinery.
2- Provide handholding support to the Project Manager/ Machine supplier/KVIC for execution ofelectrical work.
3- Guide PM/ staff/ industrial worker on modern technology in electrical processes and management practices. Provide training to handle them in right way.
4- Regular monitoring of progress made in electrical work
5- Guide to purchase all electrical/electronic items in CSP according to the requirement for installation of new textile machinery.
6- Preparation of RfP for electrical contractor
