The Indian Coast Guard is a multi-mission organization, conducting round-the-year real-life operations at sea. Despite being relatively small, it has a wide range of task capabilities for both surface and air operations.The organization is headed by the Director General Indian Coast Guard (DGICG) exercising his overall command and superintendence from the Coast Guard Headquarters (CGHQ) located at New Delhi. At CGHQ, he is assisted by four Deputy Director Generals of the rank of Inspector General, and other senior officers heading various staff divisions.
Qualification
Foreman of Stores :
Master Degree with Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration from recognized University or Institute;(ii)One year experience in handling stores and keeping accounts in store in a concern of Central Government or state Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisation or Public Sector Undertaking or University or any recognized Instituions or Bank or in a Private sector organisation Listed on the Stock Exchange on India.
OR
i)Bachelor Degree in Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration as a subject from a recognized University or Institute;or(ii) Diploma in Material Management or Warehousing Managment or Purchasing or Logistics Public Procurement from recognized University or Institute. (iii) Two years experience in handling stores and keeping accounts
in store or a concern of central government or state government or statutory or Autonomous Organization or Public Sector Undertaking or University or any recognized Institution or Bank or in a private sector organisation listed on the stock Exchange or India
Store Keeper:
Matric with 12th pass form a recognized Board or University ; two years experience in handling of stores in any recognized firm or central
or state Govt. Organization or public sector Undertakings.
OR
i)Bachelor Degree with Commerce or Economics or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration as a subject from a recognized University or Institute;(ii) One year experience in handling stores from any firm or central or state government organisation or public sector Undertakings
Age Limit
Foreman of Stores : Not Exceeding 30 year
Store Keeper : 18-25 Year
Age Relation as per govt rules and regulation
Scale of Pay:
Foreman of Stores : Level 6 in the pay matrix 35400/-
Store Keeper : Level 4 in the pay Matrix 25500/-
Selection Process
Selection will be made on the basis of written test.The short listed candidates will undergo a written test on the basis of educational qualifications prescribed for the post
The syllabus for written examination consists of general knowledge ,Arithmetic,General English,Mental Ability and experience related to the respective post.
