minutes north of Qatar’s capital city Doha.We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to provide advice, guidance and direction on Health and safety management within Al Khor International School (AKIS).
» Health and Safety Senior Officer,
• Ensure the protection of staff, students, visitors, AKIS facilities and the environment;
• ensure AKIS compliance with local fire, health and safety requirements;
• ensure AKIS compliance with RasGas SHEQ policies and procedures appropriate to an academic environment;
• implement and maintain the AKIS Safety Manual;
• work proactively with AKIS management and educational staff to establish and maintain a system that promotes a culture of safe working practices across AKIS facilities and its associated activities.
We are looking for an individual who has a minimum of 7 years of experience providing health and safety advice and undertaking risk assessments. The successful candidate will possess a NEBOSH
General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. Ideally, s/he will also have a NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate.
