We are looking for a Senior SQL DBA for our organization (A CMMi Level 5 MNC). It is a Permanent Opportunity with GSS Infotech. Below are the details:
Role: Senior SQL DBA
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh (Onsite)
Experience : 5 – 7 Years
Educational Qualification: MCA or M.Tech IT
Required: Certified Microsoft DBA
Job Responsibilities:
Work from onsite (Dhaka, Bangladesh) as Sr. SQL DBA
Analyze and fix the issues relevant to the database inter linked with the web application
Optimize the database and the respective queries and achieve the client SLAs towards the response time
Migrate and transform the SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2012
Database import and export, database tuning, backup and restore
Database deployments and user management
Experience with the database and web applications
Ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines
Ability to work well in fast paced environment, where the technology is constantly changing
Proven experience in installation, configuration, optimization, backup, training, implementation of
clustered / index database using SQL Server 2008/2012
Design and extensive script writing and database documenting skills popular RDBMS
Understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL)
Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), Object Oriented Database Management Systems (ODBMS) andXML database management systems
Knowledge in working with procurement or financial or supply chian databases
Bangla language speaking skills
