When Daleel took over Block 5 in 2002 it was producing about 4,500 barrels per day (bpd). We used a different approach with horizontal water-flooding technology and gradually managed to increase our production up to almost 41.000 bpd on average in 2013. By 2015 our target is to achieve production of 50,000 barrels per day.
