Samsung Engineering | Job Openings | UAE | Kuwait | Saudi Arabia

In May 2009, Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) contracted with Samsung Engineering to build the world’s largest ammonia plant (capacity: 3,300 metric tons of ammonia per day) in Ras Al-Khair, Saudi Arabia. In May 2011, despite a temporary but significant shortage of construction resources in the MENA region, Samsung Engineering succeeded in completing the Ma’aden Ammonia Plant on time with 15 million accident-free man-hours and an output purity of 99.86%. Significantly, of the five construction packages being built simultaneously at the Ras Al-Khair facility, Samsung Engineering’s ammonia plant was the first package to achieve commercial operation. In recognition of our employment policies and commitment to Saudi localization, the Ma’aden Ammonia Plant won the 2011 Saudization Award. Then in 2013, the project went on to win MEED’s GCC Mashreq Oil & Gas Project of the Year award for our accomplishments in project management.
