Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) is one of India’s best shipyards and designated “mini-Ratna” by the Government of India.  It was established in 1957, originally by the colonial government of the Portuguese in India, as the “Estaleiros Navais de Goa” , to build barges to be used in Goa’s growing mining industry, which took off after the establishment of India’s blockade of Goa in 1955. In the wake of Portugal’s defeat and unconditional surrender to India following the invasion of Goa by the Indian Armed Forces in 1961, it was requisitioned to manufacture warships for the Indian Navy and the Indian Coast Guard.

Qualification

Management Trainee (HR) 

Candidates should have -minimum first class degree in any discipline with 2 years full-time regular MBA/ MSW/ PG Degree/ Diploma from a recognized University/ AICTE approved institution with specialization in HRM/ IR/ Personnel Management /Labour and Social Welfare/ Labour Studies/ Social Work.

Management Trainee (Commercial) –

First class in B.E. / B.Tech/ M.Tech/ M.E. m Mechanical/ Production/ Electronics/ Electrical I Naval Architecture/ Shipbuilding from a recognized University/ AICTE approved institution.

Assistant Superintendent (Commercial)

Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) OR Graduate in any discipline with Diploma in Commercial / Supply Chain Management from a recognized University/ Institute.
The candidate should possess minimum 2 Years Post qualification relevant work experience.

Assistant Superintendent (Finance) (S-1

Graduate having passed intermediate examination / LPCC Examination from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
The candidate should possess minimum 2 Years Post qualification relevant work experience in Finance functions
