Job in HK - Why is it so difficult to find one?
I have been looking for a job. Its been a while and dont seem to have any luck. I am not Chinese, but I do speak cantonese. Why is it so hard? At this point I want to do anything. One of my family member works in a call centre and handles phone enquiries etc. doesnt speak cantonese, is not a degree holder, no experience etc. and yet he has a job. What should I do? I have tried all empl agencies like jobsdb, monster, careers, manpower..but no response. I guess this is because it is mandatory to specify current/expected salary and if there is a slight difference betw my expected and what they are offering then there is no response - altho I do write 'flexible'. Any advice will be highly appreciated.
